A former prosecutor, Mr. Freeley has extensive experience in trial and appellate advocacy. As an A.D.A. in the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office (1993-1996), Mr. Freeley specialized in appellate and trial practice. He successfully argued numerous cases before the Appeals Court and the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. Examples cases include
Commonwealth v. Grant, 418 Mass. 76 (1994)(first-degree murder) and
Commonwealth v. Walker, 421 Mass. 90 (1995)(armed robbery). Mr. Freeley has also prosecuted over 100 bench and jury trials on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Mr. Freeley is a graduate of Boston College (1989) and Suffolk Law School (1993). He is a member of the
Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the
Catholic Lawyers Guild. He is qualified to practice in all courts in Massachusetts, and has been admitted to the United States District Court and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
